In this work, I juxtapose the dense, velvety texture of tufted fiber with the refined structure of French beaded florals. The beaded flowers sit lightly on the surface, yet their construction carries a sense of weight and intention—each loop and wire-formed petal shaped through repetitive, embodied labor. Against the rich green ground, the flowers echo both natural growth and ornamental artifice. Through this combination of materials, I aim to consider how craft can capture the tension between softness and precision, and how familiar botanical forms can be reimagined through tactile, hybrid processes.
