In this work, I merge the softness of tufted textile surfaces with the precision and rigidity of French beaded florals. The contrast between these materials underscores the tension between comfort and structure, fragility and resilience. Each beaded flower is constructed through slow, deliberate repetition, then placed against a plush, absorptive ground that both supports and complicates its form. Together, these elements create a dialogue about how ornament can function as both embellishment and anchor—an intersection where tactile warmth and meticulous craft coexist in a shared visual field.
